Butterfly-shaped canopy project in the passenger distribution area on the Railway Station

The local supporting project of Zhangjiagang Railway Station- the butterfly-shaped canopy project in the passenger distribution area on the west side of the station. The proposed structure is a butterfly-shaped hyperboloid shell membrane structure in the square in front of the Station, which is divided into four parts: large and small wings.

The steel structure of this project is a single-layer hyperbolic reticulated shell structure system with a symmetrical structure on the plane. The long span of the large wings is about 50m, the short span is about 25m, and the small wings are about 35m long and 15m in the short span direction. The top of the building is a hyperbolic shape, and the highest point of the building is about 17 meters above sea level. The total steel consumption is 800 tons, and the total membrane area is about 7,000 square meters.
